scuba diving courses

There are different type of qualifications offered around the world but I will only talk about PADI since their qualification is found in most diving operators around the world. The different levels of certification by PADI are the following:

Open Water Diver:

The first ceertifies level where you have to complete a minimum of 2 dives in the sea and demonstrate the techniques you leant in the theory.

Advanced Open Water Diver:

This is completed by simply completing 5 technical dives and demonstrating that you have mastered each techniques involved in the dive.

A list of technical dives are the following:

Drift Dive

Wreck Dive

Boat Dive

Rescue Diver:

Divemaster:

You can take people out scuba diving but are not allowed to certify anyone. You must have completed a total of 60 hours of diving before you are able to apply for certification.

Diving Instructor:

You must go to a IDC Centre where there will teach you the more technical aspects of diving so that you can teach other divers to a level of Divemaster.

Open Water Diver is all you need to complete dives around the world without any problems.
